Global platform grammer.com with new B2B portal
Grammer AG has optimised its service for corporate customers: We integrated their B2B extranet into the global TYPO3 platform grammer.com, with which the company communicates in 20 countries.
Grammer is an international partner to the automotive industry. Registered sales and service partners can find the latest news, prices, offers, forms, product documentation and access to the B2B shop in the closed corporate customer portal. We gave the extranet its corporate design and user interface with the move to the overall website we realised.
At the start of the project, we reviewed all the functions and elements of the extranet and defined which existing elements of the Grammer platform should be used to display them. In this way, only a few elements had to be newly developed.
We implemented the current homepage in the frontend for the desktop and mobile application, with a slider in the header for changing image and text content. As the corporate customer portal is now part of grammer.com, its editorial maintenance takes place in the central backend system. New features include various user accounts with corresponding roles and a function for the automated preparation of news for dispatch by e-mail.
