Umovity: New website for urban mobility

Umovity is the new umbrella brand under which the software company PTV Group and the US provider of intelligent traffic management systems Econolite are joining forces. With its combination of software, hardware and services, Umovity is a global leader in the traffic planning, simulation and management segment, which is also reflected on the new umovity.com website. We realised this website on the basis of the Drupal content management framework in terms of technology and design in line with the new corporate design.

We have been supporting the PTV Group as a digital agency since 2022. By joining forces with Econolite, the mobility software expert is now also positioning itself on the hardware market in this area. To this end, it separated its two business areas of mobility and logistics and aligned its digital communication accordingly.

2,900 cities are already using Umovity solutions, such as a traffic monitoring sensor in the UK. The strategic goal is to attract international customers and investors who want to launch mobility projects - especially smart cities and mega cities in the USA. The new website promotes this by making Umovity's portfolio and expertise accessible at a glance from the homepage.

In order to achieve an optimal user experience, our front-end development team used the UEBERtool, which we developed ourselves and which has proven its worth even in complex technological projects. In the case of Umovity, we quickly achieved good results despite the numerous features of the pages and achieved excellent performance, which is also reflected in the Google Lighthouse Score.

umovity.com is a modern, dynamic website based on future-proof technology that offers every convenience for editors. It supports our client as the most important tool in their digital strategy.
