Global platform with regional specialities
Target group communication in 20 countries
Grammer AG develops and produces components and systems for car interiors as well as driver and passenger seats for off-road commercial vehicles, trucks, buses and trains. As a digital agency, we supported the company in its global communication by implementing a platform that presents the Grammer brand in a uniform way worldwide. Our client's most important objectives were to present the broad portfolio in combination with services and information for potential new employees in the careers section.
Effective content management and user centricity
Based on a concept that is consistently tailored to the user groups, we ensured an optimal user experience on grammer.com. Based on the needs of the users, we designed the application's user interface using the user-centered design method. With powerful technological equipment as a basis, we ensured that our client had a powerful tool for current and future requirements.
The improvement of the editorial processes played a key role. For an optimal user experience in content management, we gave the administration interface (backend) a clear structure and removed unnecessary fields from the content elements. With our own page types, we created a product overview that is easy to maintain and whose content can be conveniently published in several places at the same time (e.g. in the teaser and on overview pages).
Global presence with a local focus
The previous individual presences have now been bundled into a central platform that gives the company a consistent international presence.
Since the launch, the editorial team has had an effective tool for intuitive and convenient publishing. Relevant content is automatically adapted to the pages: Based on the time zone setting, the TYPO3 system recognizes which country a user is in and displays the corresponding product selection as well as regional features.
With its new platform, Grammer AG lives up to its global claim and at the same time serves its target groups with locally specific, always up-to-date content.
With UEBERBIT, we have the right partner at our side, with whom we were able to quickly implement the relaunch of the GRAMMER website. The focus was on the technological basis and the user experience. With the revision of the web presence, we will be bundling all previous individual presences into one global platform in future, which we are very proud of.
